At Debansi Taxi Service, we understand that travel plans can change. This policy outlines how we handle refunds and cancellations for our taxi services in Goa and Karnataka.
1. Cancellation by the Customer
Refunds are processed based on the amount of notice provided before the scheduled pickup time:

More than 24 Hours Notice: 100% Refund of any advance payment (minus a small 5% processing fee if paid online).

12 to 24 Hours Notice: 50% Refund of the advance payment.

Less than 12 Hours Notice: No Refund will be issued. The advance will be used to cover the driver’s lost time and booking opportunity.

No-Show: If the passenger does not show up at the designated location within 30 minutes of the scheduled time (and has not contacted us), the booking will be treated as a “No-Show” and no refund will be provided.
2. Airport Pickups (Mopa & Dabolim)
We monitor flight timings. However:

Flight Cancellations: If your flight is cancelled and you inform us at least 3 hours before the scheduled pickup, we will provide a full refund or reschedule your ride for free.

Flight Delays: We provide a grace period of 45 minutes from the actual landing time. If the delay exceeds this, waiting charges may apply, or the ride may be cancelled without a refund if we have other scheduled bookings.
3. Cancellations by Debansi Taxi Service
In the rare event that we must cancel your booking due to vehicle breakdown, driver emergency, or extreme weather:

We will try our best to arrange an alternative vehicle of similar quality.

If we cannot provide a replacement, you will receive a 100% Full Refund immediately.
4. Special Events & Peak Season
During peak tourist seasons (December 15 – January 5) or major festivals in Goa and Karnataka, all bookings are non-refundable unless cancelled at least 7 days in advance.
5. How to Request a Refund
